“maybe you should take yourself away from the situation.”
okay that’s mean. well mean in the sense that he says it kind of mocking. in the condescending teasing sort of way. in the way that his voice gets high and whiny and sounds nothing like jennie but he’s implying such when he does it. where his head shakes and he’s breezing through the words to show they breeze through his mind without making a significant mark. so yeah it’s mean. it’s actually rude. but if he thinks it’s rude he just wants to do it more, but with a small pang of guilt. so he’ll settle for mean because kihyun is in fact not a nice person. conditionally maybe.
like today. today kihyun had managed to get himself into a rather compromising situation. he almost never goes to anyone about advice, in fact he’s not going to her for advice, he’s ranting. ranting is something he does well. it’s not venting it’s rather a recollection of his day with specific emotions to specifics events. it’s ranting okay. so when he tells jennie about the situation he doesn’t expect advice. he doesn’t follow advice because advice from anyone but himself sounds like a lecture.
“i’m going to barge headfirst into the situation. i’m going to go right up to him the next time I see him because I’m not scared of him and he’s a coward if he thinks I’ll let him trash talk me like I’m not the one who won that fight. I won that fight?” he had a considerable amount of bruises but he won. he knows he’s being childish but this topic has grated his nerves enough that he thinks he’s entitled. “I mean honestly I didn’t tell him to be a jerk, I was just helping a friend and he won’t let it go that he got his butt kicked and he was being a jerk and he’s still being a jerk. what’s up with that this issue should’ve been over and done with?”
