Even though the younger was only shaking her lightly, Joohyun almost looked like a piece of gelatin due to the fact that she hasn’t eaten a proper meal in days. Their comeback has been delayed for a month, which meant prolonged agony of hours and hours of practice and dieting. Naturally, she’d cook herself a hearty meal when she’s had the last straw, but she barely has money to prepare her usual grand feast. “They don’t take away our money, don’t worry.” She knew she had to appease the girl due to the exaggerated reactions she elicited from her. “They give us the normal pay for rookies…I would hope so.” Her chuckling came out soft and gentle despite her exhaustion. “I mean, if I’d be too much of a burden, though, we can split the bill to keep it fair…”

_{The irony just from that statement contrary to how she looked pale like a washed down chicken was starking. She wasn’t going to point out the former, definitely not the latter out of courtesy. She knows the reassurance was done in good measure. Probably not to make the worrywart that is Jennie panic even further. _{The follow up comment about hope was truly concerning but then, there it is. The answer to her dilemma. “No! Not a burden at all.” She initially says, voice filled with vigor and insistence. Finally, she lets go of the other female’s arms. “Yes! We can do that.” The nodding went from subtle to eager, especially when an idea comes up. “Or how about I pay for now and then you pay for another time? I mean, hey, that gives us… an objective to meet up again, right?” Maybe it was a little obvious with the several suggestive raising of her eyebrows. She was up to no good but she’s hoping this reasoning would effectively get across the elder.}
