She’s hoping he means it was on TV. It’s only recently that they’ve debuted and it might have been wishful thinking but there’s plenty of occasions she’s heard their song being played all over Korea, whether it was in the youthful, crowded streets of Hongdae or the dazzling array of all things designer that was Gangnam. Their song would be played everywhere but no one knew of them. They were regarded as that other girl group from YG Entertainment, and that was all it is. Obviously, this was a foreigner. The only thing that’s giving her the idea that he’s a local was the proficiency in the language. Though she wasn’t sure it was the appropriate thing to do and for all she knew his appearance didn’t automatically mean he spoke a certain language, she comfortably switches to English.
“Somewhere…?” She initially asks, pitch heightened that matched the tilt of her head. She’s thinking she’s doing this out of courtesy. If she’s ever wrong, she’d just have to learn from this incident. “And that’s… where? I don’t recall us meeting each other… hm.”
