“Is that so?” She says, a bit surprised. She was aware of the enthusiasm surrounding their upcoming debut as well as the expectation that put a weight on her shoulders as the bearer of the group’s front image, but it doesn’t take away the disbelief that hits her occasionally. It was happening, finally and it felt more concrete this time around. Years of receiving gifts and messages from fans who barely knew anything about her, she was grateful and the flood of support coming this time around was pleasantly overwhelming; enough that she had no idea how to show her appreciation towards the kind gestures.
Though not directly associated with the female, Sana was a familiar personality she’d known of through her good friend Nayeon. Despite this, she was no ordinary mutual acquaintance. They’ve gone through the same years of training (not quite as long as her own course, but close) yet the adhering character was fortunate to have debuted earlier on, therefore establishing herself as Jennie’s senior which was the very reason she’s a little bit shocked by the sudden expression.
“Thank you, thank you.” She bows shyly, fingers pushing back the stray strands of her hair that fell through the process of her tiny forward arches. “Would you let me know, then? Are there words for it? Was it as excited as I was waving my fake pompoms when you debuted?” After the flood of questions, she raises her loosely curled fists in the air, shaking them like the round cluster of brightly colored streamers waved by cheerleaders.
