god is jennie thank u, next
"Jennie-ah, Krunk wants to congratulate you on your upcoming debut!! Do you think you'll be able to win on your debut stage as well? Are you finally ready to debut?! ARE YOU READY?!"

The nature of the question was quite sketchy. She could be labeled arrogant anytime. For a trainee, a rookie, sometimes even as an established, that was frowned upon. Humility, in the industry, is never overlooked. Humility is the foundation of this personal power which rests in the fact that we are not pretending to be anything or anyone we are not. It is a quiet power, an unshakable power. A peaceful power. An active power no sheer external force can overcome.

She knew the intention to be wholesome. Krunk, as the mascot of the company, would naturally want to show off talents where he resides. Her self-confidence was off the roof when it came to her craft. She worked hard through the years and she certainly has something to prove to everyone. She could crow but she chooses her beak shut. Instead, she perks up, palms hitting each other in excitement as she enthusiastically exclaims, “Yes!” It’s quickly followed with a bow to show gratitude and acknowledgement of his congrats. “Thank you, Krunk-ssi.” She says politely then her forefinger came to rest on the tip of her chin as she pretends to ponder the question as she had a ready answer for it.

Simple and plain, she responds, “It’d be an honor if we could win. It’s what I’m working for — what we’re working for. We’ll work hard to make sure we do! We’ll try our very best not to disappoint you and everyone else.” With a thin line of smile, she nods off, previously shaking hands currently laid unruffled on her lap. She thinks to herself for a good second over the following question. Was she ready? It was always on her mind. She was a mix of nervous, anxious, excited, fulfilled, and just happy. Where it leans toward is what she answers. “And yes! This is the most ready I can be.”
