Her eyes widened with how quick his head turned to ask then a finger presses on her lips, gesturing for him to quiet down though his voice only went up a small notch. A pout made its way on her features upon the question, and following her hesitance was a timid nod of her head in response. It was coming; the nagging but in relief, she sighs at the instance that he turns his attention back to the menu. The guilt-ridden expression fades as she silently watched him pick out what to eat, or try rather, yet all the same to remain at loss. Even so, she didn’t mind. He wasn’t the type to complain much. Between them, it was her job to fuss more. A snort escapes her when he reiterated the name of the drink. She followed up in a hushed tone along with a faint chuckle, “Ah… yes, ass smoothie." 

The wandering of eyes began soon as the waitress leaves with their orders and when her line of sight falls back on him, she notices the invisible space he sinks into and in the same way, she analyzes his every feature. What was he thinking? It makes her squint in thought, her free hand finding its place holding up her face as well as the other. This had become the customary. A hobby, she’d say. She could stare at him for hours even in the silence that wasn’t prevailing for Jennie who liked to fill in whenever there was company. Eyebrows loosen over his sigh and the weak smile that trails after. Attentive to his words, her head leans forward slightly. “Oh…” her voice lacked the verve it had just moments ago. “Right, right. I wouldn’t be able to send you off.” And it says that way while her thumb’s nail sits in between her teeth which falls back down the table as he takes her other hand.

Her posture slackens back onto her seat just as he did, locking her fingers with his as smile starts to form back into her face. “Jiyoung who?” She joked, making her chuckle to herself. “Just kidding! Yeah. Today’s spa day then I’ll go back to the center right after.” She nodded, shifting in her seat to face him slightly. “You should come with us next time. You said you haven’t been to one, right? It’s a good opportunity with this one since it’s discounted.” Her eyebrows bounced repeatedly in a suggestive, even slightly boasting manner.

Immediately, she gets sidetracked when the waitress comes back with enormous platters of food, its rich aroma wafting down, beckoning her and making her lick her lips in excitement. “It’s here!” she exclaims, hands meeting to clap softly over the pleasantly overwhelming sight that laid in wait.
