Tick tock, says the wrist watch. It’s Jennie’s good friend with her whose predicament had been scourged to jeopardy the moment they’d met. There were plenty of risks being friends with the trainee. Not only because there were restrictions left and right, but also because she was headstrong and in nature, unable to follow rules other than her own. Never for the bad, however.

Penny — that’s her name. Well, Haneul, actually. But apart from having a close friend of the same Korean name, she liked to call her by that because it rhymed with her own. Jennie and Penny, rolling on a ferry; ready for the messy; never down on steady. Thoughts on her end, those were. One-sided, she believes. The friend was a quiet one, an introvert, while she was the opposite in which case she liked to think they complemented each other. Though it doesn’t mean she wasn’t feeling guilty at this instance.

There were sirens blaring, people rushing out of the buzzling party that probably had a bunch of minors in them or other more disreputable individuals. Jennie hadn’t expected it’d come to this. The scenery didn’t look too troubling at first. The agenda was to help her friend let loose since it looked to be something she lacked on, always serious as she knew her and for the while that the situation wasn’t out of control, she was feeling accomplished; that’s if she was right in thinking Penny was having a good time.

She’d shoves through the crowd of people running the opposite direction as hers, looking for the female that she’d lost amid the disarray. It was her fault, she was carried away. Usually she was only out with her own friends, smaller groups. If she’d be honest, it was a new atmosphere as her peers were a bit more docile than this certain group and she was fascinated for a brief while with the various personalities present. “Penny!” she yells her lungs out repeatedly whilst stopping every girl that resembled her.
