All sorts of semi, that’s what she called it. Semi-career, that’s what she had. Semi-celeb, that’s what she was. Such contributing factors made her unable to roam the streets of Seoul freely. Maybe the picturesque lands of New Zealand as well where she grew up. She was quite popular as a kid, after all, in every school that she had gone to. A true social butterfly.

It was a familiar instance. Imagine her in all black like the usual, down to the facial mask. Except she forgot to bring one so she’s hiding behind the male, whose stature was thankfully tall. Bambam. It’s not a common name around, and if one had to go on further to his real name, it’d be much more of a complicated story. But that’s part of Jennie’s character. Not complicated. International. Going back, actually, complicated works too. But on this note, if she were in college instead of living a life of happy suffering, she would fit a spot in a class of International Studies. The male had a background mix of Thai and maybe American, if she recalls correctly - with features so distinct, you’d recognize him anywhere. In a place like this anyway.

A manhwa store. Jennie’s personal favorite. It’s been a while since she had been in the place because every time she paid it a visit, the owner would hysterically declare her presence and the next thing you know, she’s got people asking for her autograph which she would have to unfortunately decline. She disliked the latter part more than the part where she gets crowded by people. So she’s clinging, burying her face into his underarm almost. And she’s chuckling because he picks out a familiar series she had a copy of her own.

Not that she’s judging (a little, maybe) but for some reason, she pictured him liking something else, like a fluffy romance story with pretty pictures but then again, those kind were always available as webcomics so if he actually liked those and wanted to be discreet about it, there’s that route to take. “You’re getting that?” she asks, head tilting very slightly where only the upper half of her head was visible. “I have a copy, you know. I could just always let you borrow.”
