“Hi, bub. I’m sorry I stopped replying earlier. The members and I ran off to a schedule… which is actually just me forcing them a little to practice haha! Have you eaten lunch? I hope you already did. Tell Jisoo noona I said hi!“
“Anyway, yeah.. I need to go.. the members are starting to tease me now. Yeah, bye! See you later. Take the time to relax today since it’s your day-off from training.”
She hadn’t realized that her last message had been left unattended since she was with the company of her best friend, Jisoo, and it wasn’t until after a disrupted movie with Jiyoung that she had found a surprise waiting for her to click open. And when she does, it instantly puts a fond smile on her face. First, she sighs repeatedly as she watched it a second time, chin rested on her palm and head tilted as she analyzed the details — his features, gestures, how he was holding up the camera and having it focused on him properly for the first time. She chuckles at the thought of his members goading at him. Then in turn, she takes the time to record a video as well:
“Baby…!” she exclaims but with a gentle tone that was followed by her lips jutting out in a slight pout as she was in total awe over the video message. “You cutie. It’s fine!” she says with enthusiasm. “You didn’t have to,” she feigns a sob, “but this is also good.” she mumbles before her tone of voice shifts back to her normal one. “I’ve eaten lunch! A proper meal, yes. What about you? Please don’t forget to eat, too. Jisoo left for a bit but I’ll tell her you said hi when she comes back. Aigoo, aigoo… focus on practice, leader. I’m relaxing for the rest of the day. You have fun, okay? Don’t work too hard,” she raises a fist. “I’ll see you later!” then she blows a kiss to the camera, waving before she presses the stop button and sends it to him.
