it’s been a good six months and i admit, my reclusiveness was a bit.. excessive, and yet.. “i appreciate the fact that you saved me from unemployment but.. is this- is this it?” at the time i thought: working in association to YG was gonna be awesome. free tickets, free snacks, unlimited chicken nuggets, but no it wasn’t like that at all. looking back, i wasn’t exactly sure how jennie was able to get her people to approve me as ‘the get away driver’. i’m referring to myself with that title because that’s the only way to make any of this sound remotely exciting. also i was kinda nervous. i should have trusted jennie. it’s not like i never did, it was just that for the time being i was doubtful as hell.

This is what she meant about bringing a lot of hassle to the male and somehow, cruel as can be, she enjoyed his reactions. To think, he saw fun in being a driver when in the back of her mind the offer really meant ‘I need someone who would be fine being called in the middle of the night to drive me where I can come see my boyfriend ('future’, at the time) because our relationship is a secret’ seeing as he was one of the few people that she could actually trust. But there was some truth to what he had expected. Just that for now, she was a trainee. Not much more. She did the best she could to get him something, anything, as it was second nature to her but she does feel bad that he had to allot a good portion of his own time intuiting to her every call. “I’m not a criminal, you know. We won’t go robbing a bank or anything thrilling like that,” she joked. “What do you want anyway? A raise?”

She hopped to the front seat which wasn’t occupied normally, but she was that comfortable. “Do you wanna go someplace else before you drop me off the dorms?” she asked, head tilting as she slumps herself forward to face him slightly.
