Never mind that her first instinct in these kind of situations would be to tease for the sudden mush. She’s used to it but because Sueji always talked of how she wasn’t comfortable doing it, she had the idea that it was uncharacteristic for her even if she didn’t exactly believe it herself. But for now, the inclination was to reciprocate. It wasn’t obligatory per se. She did need her back. Maybe even more than Sueji does, more than she ever will know, but it was up to Jennie to show just how much she does.
