There was a reason for lack of contact ; he was doing schedules, he was at the dorms. These days, he didn’t have much time to spend with trainees and most certainly not of the female gender. Under usual circumstances, Junhwe found it hard to get close to others. It took a while to warm up to them, to feel comfortable. He wasn’t a big fan of change, he liked being in control of what was going on, who he was around. Didn’t like unplanned surprises.
However, it’s been a while that the two have been under the same label. She was older, had more experience as a trainee. There was a certain level of respect established for her. He wouldn’t go as far to say he’s uncomfortable around her. He knew Jisoo fairly well, it was only natural to get to know Jennie too.
He lets out a sigh at what she says, adjusts his black cap on top of his head out of annoyance, wanting to busy his hands. ❝ People like to think a lot of different stuff. It’s usually never right. ❞
jkbawsIf she’d be honest, the tense and serious atmosphere made her a tad uncomfortable but she doesn’t want to seem like she was mocking his feelings. With the type of person Jennie was, it’s been the norm to come of with such an impulse regardless of her true intentions. She was just the type to suppress things and laugh it off. It’s an art she’s mastered at this point. But to other people, though she’s not sure why, it was offensive.
She imagined the male not to be bothered by such — or maybe she hoped for it — yet she wasn’t sure what approach to go for because of the cold energy he was giving off. “Hey, I’m just saying, cool guy. People like us, we have an image. Whether or not we want to sustain it or dispute it, not much of our choice. I’d complain too but I got myself into this.” her shoulders lift in a shrug before her hand then comes to give him a pat on the shoulder, attempting to calm his evident angst.
“So just lighten up, okay? Run that thing over me again and I’ll give you my honest opinion, I swear. Forget that I said what everyone thinks of you. Can you do that?” her head tilts as she tries to catch his gaze under the cover of his cap (which wasn’t hard because she wasn’t as tall as he was anyway) and she leaves it at luck to have him band together with her idea.
